While Train Time’s focus, we enjoy looking at trains of yesteryear—especially when they are as beautiful as this restored Pullman car, which you can visit in Vermont. How about a 21st-century version that isn’t just for tourists? And how about a revival of the bar car as a third place?

Railroad Museum of New England
Through its operating subsidiary known as the Naugatuck Railroad, the museum operates excursion and freight trains on the Torrington Secondary between Waterville and Torrington.

The Train Campaign, which hosts the Train Time media project, was inspired by people who longed to see passenger rail service in the US to rival the services they had enjoyed elsewhere in the world. That vision remains strong today!
